Saved by Historic Savannah Foundation in 1983 and featured in the introduction of the third edition Historic Savannah Survey of significant buildings, this 1886 home is a romantic retreat located just off Forsyth Park.

First in a few categories, the Hamilton-Turner Inn was the first house in Savannah designed in the first new style after the Civil War. This second empire mansion was later the first home in Savannah retrofitted with electricity. Located on Lafayette Square with easy access to the Cathedral, Andrew Low House and Firefly Café.

William Kehoe moved his family into this Columbia Square mansion in the 1890s after making his fortune producing the iron that ornaments his home. Today you can stay in this centrally located and luxurious inn.
The contemporary interiors found in the Mansion on Forsyth Park show obvious historic referencing and include a ballroom, pool and spa. As with most of Savannah, artwork ties everything together and culminates in a gallery that physically links the new hotel with the original 1889 mansion. Now called 700 Drayton, the mansion functions as an upscale restaurant and lounge.
Holiday Inn's location in Savannah's landmark district is known as the Mulberry Inn. What was once cotton storage and later Coca-Cola bottling facility is rehabilitated into a comfortable hotel with a great location.
